Trainee applications invited

PhD students, postdocs, researchers and innovators with good programming and/or optimisation skills are invited to apply to participate as Trainees in the First ROAR-NET Training School, to be held at the Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology from 16 to 20 June 2025. Financial support is available for eligible applicants from COST Member and Near Neighbour Countries. The application deadline is 4 April 2025.

The event will focus on “Computational Modelling of Combinatorial Optimisation Problems,” including problem structuring, problem modelling, the ROAR-NET API specification, and practical aspects of model development and implementation. It will feature:

  • Engaging lectures
  • Mentored problem-solving group projects
  • Trainee poster presentations
  • Team-building activities
