Description

The ROAR-NET API specification defines, in natural language, how users can make domain problems accessible to randomised optimisation algorithms. There are currently two ROAR-NET API implementations, one written in Python and one written in Java. The goal of this STSM is to create a formal API specification to facilitate the implementation of the API in other programming languages. A formal specification will allow a more precise description of the existing API, capturing additional information, such as variability aspects of the API specification, and enable an automated processing of the API.
